Renault Kwid: A new Revolution in Small Entry Car Segment?

In 23rd September 2015, Renault has launched its Entry level car KWID.  It has already crossed 70,000 bookings.  From the looks and style, its hard to say that its a budget car.  Entire Credit goes to renault for creating a good work on looks behind the scene.

Exterior: Brilliant work done by renault in Design and style.   Exteriors are looked like a a baby Dustor.  It's not a large car, but the wide front grill, the plastic cladding on each side combine together and the 180mm ground clearance  to ensure that it has an imposing stance.

Interior:  Instead of Techno meter, Along with gear shift indicator,  It has big and clear digital instrument cluster.  It has 7-inch touch screen in central console which is available in top end variant.  It has same infotainment system that the dustor has with Bluetooth connectivity and navigation.

Renault has designed a new 799 CC 3 cylinders engine with 5 speed manual trasmission for KWID which delivers 53bhp of power and 72Nm of torque.  As per ARAI, KWID returns 25.17 km/l milege which is high compare to other cars in this segment.  The reason for high fuel efficiency is that it is very light weight car around 660 kgs, but still it feels stable at high speeds with descent ride and handling.
